1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Octabills, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to abide by the foregoing, please do not use this Service.
2. Use License
Permission is granted to install and run the Octabills application on your local POS terminal or device. This is a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license grant, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
- Modify, distribute, or copy the software binary or code
- Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or extract source code from Octabills
- Remove any copyright, logo, or other proprietary markings
- Rent, lease, or commercially distribute the application to third parties
3. As-Is Provision & Disclaimer
The Octabills software is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. Octabeans Software makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, printer compatibility, or non-infringement of intellectual property.
4. Limitations of Liability
In no event shall Octabeans Software or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business data, profit, store interruptions, or hardware/printer failures) arising out of the use or inability to use Octabills, even if we have been notified of the possibility of such damage.
5. Code & Infrastructure Reservation
Octabeans Software reserves all rights, titles, and interest in and to the Octabills application, design layouts, core code, binary distribution systems, Firebase configurations, databases, and branding assets. No title or property rights are transferred under these Terms.
